This also happens in the vanilla game, but it's a little less visible. Is there any way to correct these glowing water edges ? It seems to me, that they do not respond to Muddiness parameter changes at all. Unfortunatelly, after my tweaks, this water without ENB looks not so good. Even is set to 0.0, the water edge is always glowing, only increasing the value of Far Plane helps.ĬoT, RWT and my tweaks (I also changed the water color): I think that "Above Water Fog" is responsible for all the problems and seems that Fog Amount is ignored by ENB. In Skyrim there is a parameter for the water called "Above Water Fog", with Fog Amount (it's greater than zero for almost all types of water), Fog Distance - Near Plane and Fog Distance - Far Plane. These bright edges can be fixed in ENB only by increasing Muddiness to 0.4, the center of the water is as bright as the edges, but then all the water begins to "glow". This time with CoT and Realistic Water Two (in the vanilla game looks almost the same). And if I turn on the enb water, with a really low Muddiness value - 0.05, this part of the water near the edge is always brighter (foggy).Īnother example, default volcanic water.
The difference between the in-game water and the same water with enb (even if I turn off the enb water effect) is huge. No mods, no additional textures or meshes. I made a demonstration video to illustrate this problem : I know that it's really filled with fog in game, but this effect is much more subtle. The water seems to be filled with fog with ENB turned on. Boris - I'm not sure if we can talk about the bug here, but as far as I can remember, I've always had a problem with it in the LE version.
